I'm Zixuan Zhang, a mathematics student at the University of Cambridge and a developer with ten years of experience spanning systems programming, full-stack development, and UI design. I work primarily in Rust and Python, from operating system kernels to web applications. I'm also known as Michael or Micfong (/mɪkˈfɔːŋ/, /mɪkˈfɑːŋ/, or however you like).

My goal is to contribute to the entire humankind with my scientific and technological knowledge and to make the world a better place with my passion. I'm drawn to intersections between fields: mathematics, physics, biology, computation, or wherever I can make a real difference. Too naïve? Maybe. I sometimes see myself as a crisis-aware idealist.

In my free time, I read sci-fi and play video games (you could probably find one of them hidden somewhere on this site). I've recently become a fan of Starset. I currently live in UTC+0.
